Mark B. Stone, 61, of Owensboro passed away on February 1, 2026. He was born on February 29, 1964, to the late Willard and Wanda Stone.
Mark was a man who treasured time at home and found joy in the simple things. He loved playing golf and watching sporting events, especially cheering on the Chicago Bears and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Quiet and reserved by nature, he was still friendly and easy to be around. Those closest to him knew he took pride in his golf game and liked to think of himself as the best golfer—an opinion he held with a smile.
Along with his parents, Mark is preceded in death by his brother, Danny Stone.
Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancé, Victoria Clayton; his brother, Mike (Cindy) Stone; his sons, Martin and Mason Stone, and his niece, Michele Stone.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
