Clayton Thomas Adams, 37, of McDaniels, Ky died on February 23, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Louisville, Ky on May 2, 1988 to James Anthony Adams and Pamela Kaye Thomas. Clayton was an equipment operator with Hinton Excavating. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved Rough River Lake and spent alot of his free time enjoying the water. It has been said that Clayton never had a bad day, he was always smiling no matter how he felt or what the current situation might be.
Clayton was preceded in death by his brother Tyler Adams.
He is survived by his father, James Adams (Debra Stover) of Martinsville, IN

Daughter: Jaylei Fayth Adams of Westview, KY
Sister: Amanda Adams (Scott Riley) of Port St. Lucie, FL
Niece: Waverly Riley
Cremation has been chosen by the family with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
