TUESDAY’S VOLLEYBALL ACTION:
• E-Gals top Lady Devils in district finale
• Owensboro wins in three sets at home


E-GALS TOP LADY DEVILS IN DISTRICT FINALE
In the final 9th District match of the season, Apollo edged past Daviess County in four sets for a 3-1 (25-22, 25-27, 25-21, 25-18) home victory.

The E-Gals (22-11, 4-2 9th District) locked up the No. 2 seed for next week’s district tournament, while the Lady Panthers (18-9, 3-3) will be the No. 3 seed.

Apollo was led by Tallie Satterfield (23 assists, 4 kills), Hallie Wilson (20 digs, 4 aces), Whitley Chambers (11 kills, 3 blocks), Natalie Ewing (10 kills, 6 blocks), Anslee Hopewell (6 digs, 5 aces), Camryn Kerwick (6 digs, 5 aces) and Maddi Boswell (5 kills, 3 digs).

Daviess County was led by Hannah Axley (21 assists, 10 digs), Kloee Phelps (15 digs, 4 kills, 2 blocks), Elizabeth Moore (13 kills, 5 digs, 2 aces), Ryann Keller (10 assists, 4 kills, 2 digs), Ashton Johnson (12 kills, 9 digs) and Kendal Goetz (12 digs, 3 aces).

Other contributions came from Kinsley Phelps (5 kills, 3 blocks, 3 digs), Jasmine Beasley (4 blocks, 2 kills, 2 digs), Chea Bowers (6 digs), Kayla Clark (6 digs) and Delaney Evans (4 digs).


OWENSBORO WINS IN THREE SETS AT HOME
The Lady Devils won their home finale, sweeping Webster County 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 26-24).

Owensboro (14-20) was led by Krystell Pappas (20 assists, 10 digs, 8 aces, 6 kills), Mykael Winstead (15 digs, 8 kills, 4 assists, 2 blocks) and Jersie Rhineburger (17 digs, 5 assists).

Others helping the cause were Kennedy Thompson (6 digs, 5 assists, 2 aces), Lainey Hayden (6 kills, 4 blocks), Armanda Pappas (5 kills, 5 digs), Addie McDaniel (4 digs, 2 kills), Audretta Tyler (7 digs) and Brooklyn Williams (4 kills, 2 digs).

The Lady Devils wrap up the regular season Thursday at Muhlenberg County.
