Daviess County 10, Breckinridge County 2
The Daviess County Panthers hit the road Monday and took down the Breckinridge County Tigers 10-2 behind four players finishing with multiple hits.
Zach Head (2-5, RBI, 2B), Garrett Small (2-4), Jackson Loucks (2-3, 3 RBIs) and Hunter Payne (2-4, R, 2B) all had big days at the plate while Owen Payne had a triple and 3 RBIs.
Brock Brubaker, Layton Huskisson and Bo Stratton each finished with two runs.
Loucks also got it done on the mound as he went all seven innings and struck out five while allowing just one earned run on five hits.
Daviess County hosts Henderson County today at DCHS.
Henderson County 14, Owensboro 4
The Owensboro Red Devils couldn’t keep up with Henderson County Monday as they fell to the Colonels 14-4 at HCHS.
The loss is the is the 10th straight for the Red Devils.
Owensboro plays at Owensboro Catholic tonight.
Butler County 9, Trinity 3
Butler County scored in the first inning and added to their lead throughout the game as they took down Trinity 9-3 Monday in Whitesville.
Landon Huff was handed the loss for the Raiders but still struck out 12 in the game.
Gavin Howard went 1-3 with a run while Carter Crisp was 1-2 with an RBI.
Trinity plays Butler County against today but this time the two hit the diamond in Morgantown.
