Daviess County 6, Warren East 4
Daviess County 12, Eastern 2

Daviess County hit the softball field twice Saturday for the Team Lauren Cancer Awareness Tournament where they took down Warren East 6-4 in the first game of the day then beat Eastern 12-2.

Against Warren East, the Lady Panthers fell behind 4-0 before they battled back and had the game tied 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh.

With one runner on, Millie Roberts sent a shot over the fence to give DC the win over the 4th Region power.

Greysee Whiteker got the win after pitching a scoreless seventh inning for the Panthers while Raylee Roby went six frames and struck out six.

Abby Newman led the Panthers against Warren East as she went 4-4 with a double, RBI and two runs in the win. Katie Mewes also had multiple hits for DC, including a double. Roberts finished with two RBIs while Jessie Daniels also had two RBIs to go with a home run.

Against Eastern, DC led 5-1 after the first and built their lead to end the game in the sixth inning.

Whiteker also picked up the win against Eastern as she struck out nine and allowed one earned run.

Newman led the Panthers against Eastern as well with three hits, two RBIs and two runs.

Seana Leibfried (2-3, 2 2B, RBI, 2 R), Roberts (1-4, HR, 3 RBIs, R), Daniels (2-4, RBI, R), Hattie Newman (1-3, 2B, 2 R) and Mewes (2-3, RBI) all had big games for the Panthers as they had 15 hits in the win.

Daviess County plays today at home against Owensboro.

Breckinridge County 13, Owensboro 3 (5 innings)
Trinity 9, Owensboro 5

Owensboro hit the road for two games Saturday at Breckinridge County as they fell to the host Lady Tigers 13-3 and then dropped 9-5 contest to the Trinity Lady Raiders.

Against BC, Pipe Bradfield and Catie Jewell each had singles for OHS while Bradfield had a run and an RBI. Emmi Connor and Hadley Hughes also had RBIs in the game while Ellington Embry and Lindsey Gibson each scored.

Against Trinity, Sophie Moorman went 3-3 with a run while Addison Hill (1-4, R), Kaylyn Sowders (1-4, RBI, R), Lindsey Gibson (1-3, RBI, 2 R), Morgan Turner (1-2, 2B, RBI), Brooke Keller (1-4, RBI) and Catie Jewell (2-3) all had solid games in defeat.

For Trinity, Allie Graham got the win after she struck out two and allowed three earned runs to grab the victory.

Katherine Hibbit (3-4, HR, RBI, R) and Cassidy Morris (3-4, 2B, RBI, R) led the way for the Lady Raiders while Macie Aguilar (1-4, RBI, R), Madison McDaniel (2-4, 2B, 2 RBI, R), Georgia Howard (1-4, 2B, R), Abby Payne (RBI, R) and Graham (2-3, 2 RBI, 2 R) had big days at the plate.

Owensboro plays today at Daviess County.

Breckinridge County 15, Trinity 4

After they beat Owensboro at Breckinridge County, the Trinity Lady Raiders fell to the host Lady Tigers 15-4.

Abby Payne went 2-3 with two RBIs while Raylee Higdon had a solo home run for the Lady Raiders.

Trinity plays Monday at home against McLean County.
