Daviess County’s second round of the softball State Tournament game against Henderson County has been delayed till today at 1 pm et. The two teams kicked off last night, but after three rain delays, the game was called in the bottom of the fourth and pushed back to Sunday.
Henderson County leads 1-0 after scoring a run in the bottom of the first off a fielder’s choice. The Lady Colonels Anna Kemp is perfect through four innings, while Daviess County’s Kamryn Timmons has already struck out five through three innings. When the game resumes, Mackenzie Burczyk will be up to bat for Henderson County, facing a full count.
