The Daviess County girls’ golf team kicked off their season earlier this week, competing at the Bowling Green County Club and finishing fifth with a score of 334. Claire Reynolds led the team with a 75, while Briley Billingsley (82), Baylie Billingsley (83), and Kennedi Minton (93) rounded out the teams scoring.
“The girls had to endure a four-hour rain delay and finished the last three holes in really wet conditions,” Daviess County coach Brandon Reynolds said. “It was a good start to the year. This gave the girls some things they need to work on moving forward.”
They return to action on Thursday at the Pearl Club.
