Daviess County took down Bardstown and the Lady Aces beat Trinity (Whitesville) in the 3rd Region All A Tournament.
Daviess County 61, Bardstown 52
Kennedy Lane hit a pair of threes to go along with her game-high 20 points in the Lady Panthers 61-52 win over Bardstown 61-52. Riley Hayden hit three threes to go along with her 18 points, and Briley Henry was third on the team in scoring with 11 points.
“This group is playing very strong basketball, and they continue to play for each other,” Daviess County Head Coach Natalie Payne said. “With each game, we become more connected as a unit.”
Owensboro Catholic 64, Trinity (Whitesville)35
In the opening round of the 3rd Region All A Tournament, Owensboro Catholic’s stifling defense led the way to a 64-35 victory. Taylor Mannahan scored 15 points, and Layla Martin hit a pair of threes to go along with her 13 points.
For the Lady Raiders, Olivia Starks led the way with 10 points, and Ry’Lynne Meserve hit two threes to go along with her seven points.
